What is the Great Awakening? Introduction

Whenever we hear the phrase “The Great Awakening” we all think of a different idea of what that means to us. There is nothing wrong with having different ideas.

I have found out over the last 2 years that two main ideas or meanings have been presented, at least to me. This is only through my eyes and observations.

I will discuss my observations on each of these ideas. Ask questions or relate a personal experience. My hope is that as we move through these ideas, we will gain better insight into what is going on. Consider this like a brainstorming, thinking outside of the box think tank. Throw some ideas around and leave it to each reader to think about these things.

So, some food for thought before I write again. What is The Great Awakening mean to you? Is it possible that 2 types of awakening are happening at the same time?
